In the frame of HRH-SEMCA, I am working on the work-package 1 which deals with the analysis of the current spatial patterns of COVID-19 in Africa in relation to socioecological characteristics of countries. With two master students, we are:

• performing a global systematic review on statistical methods used to assess impacts of socio-ecological factors on COVID-19 incidence and their performance, and
• assessing the socio-ecological patterns of COVID-19 spatial dynamics in Africa using diverse statistical modelling.
